All of our Hardwood mix 'split’ logs are sawn into small batches and kiln dried. When the moisture levels are right, the logs are removed from the kiln and then undergo a hand sanding of both ends to produce a smooth fine finish. Every attention is made to ensure that our split logs retain their rustic appeal with much of the bark remaining in situ.

Current species of wood include Oak, Ash and Beech which are producing a mixture of pink and brown colours.

All of our wood is sourced from Sustainable British Woodlands and as standard we supply in 10cm and 20cm cut lengths. However, we can cut up to 40cm lengths if required.

Note:

The number of logs per box may vary depending on the size of the wood pieces. Current stock will produce boxes of between 10 and 20 logs as some pieces will be 'chunkier'. (We like the 'chunky' ones!)
